Letters to the editor are encouraged. Letters must be no longer than 300 words. Letters regarding local issues will be given priority. All letters will be edited regardless of content. A letter must be signed and include a name and phone number, or it will not be used. Additionally, only one letter per person will be accepted per 30 days to allow for a variety of opinions.

Letters may be mailed to P.O. Box 1076, Ellijay, GA  30540. They are accepted via e-mail at tceditor@timescourier.com, or fax at 706-635-7006.

The deadline for all letters is Monday at 5 p.m.
