Mrs. Nolia L. Brown Simpson

Mrs. Simpson was born Oct. 6, 1939, in Habersham County, to the late Noah and Belle Savage Norton. She worked in the food service industry and was a member of Sunlight Baptist Church. 

She is preceded in death by husbands, Leon Charles Brown and Stanley Simpson.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, the Rev. Ricky and Sharon Brown, of Ellijay; daughters, Teresa Webster, of Leesburg, Ala., Karen Bryant, of Morganton, Sherry Wright, of Kennesaw; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Seaborn Norton, of Jefferson, John Norton, of Lula; and sister, Geneva Nix, of Commerce.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2020, from the Jesus Church Cemetery on Big Creek Road with the Rev. Tony Withrow and Rev. Mitchell Pack officiating. 

Music was by Mickey and Barbara Brinkley. 

Pallbearers were Tommy Webster, Josh Webster, Chris Wright, Jeff Brookshire, Darrell Brown and Mitch Daniel.
