Margaret Marie Hallman Spencer

Margaret Marie Hallman Spencer, 83, of Ellijay, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022.

She was born July 8, 1939, in Searles, Ala., to the late Charlie Jackson and Willie Mae (Hannah) Hallman. She is preceded in death by husband, Gene Spencer.

She is survived by daughters Debra (Grady) Denney, Cheryl (Tim) Davenport, Delores Ann Whitaker, all of Ellijay; sons, David Ellis Jr. (Daffy), of Alabama, Dwayne Ellis (Sue), of Montana; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at By His Grace Independent Church at 1300 Old Hwy. 5 North Ellijay with Pastor Junior Maney officiating.
