John Coleman Hall, 76, of Nashville, Ga., died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2020, at Parkside Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation in Ellijay. 

He was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Berrien County, to the late Leon and Louelle McKinnon Hall. He retired as the city clerk of Nashville, and was a member of Nashville First Baptist Church. 

He is preceded in death by wife, Wilma Jean Griffin Hall; son, Christopher Adam Hall; brothers-in-law, Johnny Elwood Griffin and Charles Miner.

He is survived by sons, Greg (Amy) Hall, of Greenville, S.C. and Chad (Nira) Hall, of Ellijay; brother, Bobby (Jean) Hall, of Nashville; sister, Pat (Bobby) Polk, of Nashville; sister-in-law, Sylvia Miner, of Powell, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Windell (Liza) Griffin, of Nashville; grandchildren, Ashley (Cody) Powers, Stephen Hall, Alyson (Brandon) Doolittle, Zach Hall and Emily Hall; and great-grandchildren: Eric Jones and Carter Doolittle.

A graveside service will be held in the Nashville Memorial Gardens, Nashville, Ga., at 1 p.m. Friday Oct. 30, 2020.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 29, 2020, at Cartecay Baptist Church in Ellijay with the Rev. Chad Hall officiating 

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be sent to Nashville First Baptist Church, 301 West Washington Avenue, Nashville, GA 30139  or the charity of your choice.
