Geneva Langley Hyatt

Geneva Langley Hyatt, 95, died Aug. 2, 2020, at her home in Marietta. She was born Dec. 16, 1924, in Ellijay, to the late Avery Langley and Pluma Tankersley Langley. She loved cooking and always had the best pound cakes. Gardening was a passion for Geneva and she greatly enjoyed Sundays spent with family and friends. Family was the most important thing to her. Those were her most precious memories. 

She is preceded in death by husband of 54 years, Glen Hyatt.

She is survived by children, Harrold, Don, Phyllis Hyatt Tatum; son-in-law, Greg Tatum; brothers, Hubert Langley, Jack Langley and Ray Langley; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held in the fall.
