Connie Dawn Segraves

Miss Connie Dawn Segraves, of Ellijay passed away peacefully Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022, at the age of 60.

She was born in Gadsden, Ala., May 18, 1962, and spent the majority of her life in Dunwoody and Roswell.

She is survived by parents, Myron and Lorraine Segraves; sisters, Melodie Caponigro (Rich), Tracy Van Namen (John); nephews, Greg, Matt and Brad Caponigro; uncle, Pat Segraves (Pam) and many more relatives and friends.

She was a member of Roswell United Methodist Church, Noah’s Ark Sunday School Class, an avid bowler and member of The Miracle League Softball program in Alpharetta. She lived many happy years with RRA, Enable and InCommunity in a group home in Roswell.

She never met a stranger and was loved by everyone.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, from Roswell United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends Thursday, Oct. 20, 2022, from 1-2 p.m. in the parlor of the church.

The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers at Marietta Life Center for the most loving care in Connie’s last days.
